Gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or a soft cloth before application of this product. Anusol Ointment is to be applied externally or in the lower portion of the anal canal up to 3-4 times daily. (The enclosed dispensing cap is designed to control dispersion of the ointment to the affected area in the lower portion of the anal canal only.) To use dispensing cap, attach it to tube, lubricate well, then gently insert part way into anus. Squeeze tube to deliver medication. Thoroughly cleanse dispensing cap after use. Children 12 years of age: consult a physician.CAUTION:For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. If condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days, stop use of this product and do not begin use of any other hydrocortisone product unless you have consulted a physician.
